Dialogue One, Solo Theatre Festival, MA
‘62 Center for Theatre and Dance, and Dr. Omar Sangare, Department of Theatre, Williams College, are seeking one-person shows. Dialogue One is an international theatre festival of solo performances located at ’62 Center for Theatre and Dance at Williams College, MA, USA. Our primary aim is to establish a platform for Williams students to share their theatrical works with a broad range of audience. The Festival is designed also for students outside of Williams College, as well as for professional artists. We believe that incoming performers will inspire the artistic dialog among students, professionals, and audience. Solo performers will explore essential dramatic themes, such as intellectual and emotional complexity, the subject of solitude, and the uniqueness of human imperfection. It is an occasion to share diverse perspectives that span cultural, perceptional, linguistic, professional or personal similarities and differences between people. Prod. dates: Dec. 6-8, 2007.
SeekingPerformers who can present one-person show: male and female. Note: Dialogue One offers performers and audiences the opportunity to come together in creativity, awareness, and hope through the process of knowledge-exploration. The festival features performances by Williams College students, students from other U.S. educational institutions, students from educational institutions abroad, professional performance artists from the U.S., and international professional performance artists.
