Lasell Dance Studio

This performance space is approximately 40' X 40', with bleacher seating for approximately 300 people.

Any student can request use of the space to rehearse, choreograph or perform. During busy rehearsal times, it is imperative for students to sign up on the Studio Scheduling Calendar for a time slot to use the studio. Keep in mind that there is also Studio B downstairs, which can be used for pieces requiring less space.

There is a key to Lasell Dance Studio at Security (basement of Hopkins Hall). The names of active members of Dance Program are listed at Security. The listed members can exchange their Williams IDs for the key. The key will not open the music closet or the offices.

• Sprung wooden dance floor with removable marley
• Moderate lighting inventory (+75 units)
• Dimmer per circuit (96 2.4kw) in plugging strips on 6 fixed pipes @ +14' over performance space (125 amps 3 phase, max load)
• Fixed and rolling booms available
• ETC Micro vision lighting control
• Wing space is limited in height and width, especially stage left
• Space is well windowed, daytime blackouts difficult
• Adjacent small studio is used as dressing room during performance
