Professor of Theatre at Williams since 1974. Bucky has taught acting, directing, and dramatic literature at the University of California-Berkeley, Stanford University, and was a Visiting Fellow of Exeter College, Oxford during 1988-89. He was Director of the Williams College Oxford Programme from 1987-1989, and Director of the Oakley Center for the Humanities and Social Sciences at Williams from 1990-1993. Bucky has directed shows at StageWest, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Opera Company of Philadelphia, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Michigan Opera Theatre, and the San Francisco Opera.
